We know that Ilyas arrived at Sutton High Street by train. Minutes after he came out of the station he was involved in an altercation with the suspect who then fled the scene. Ilyas had suffered fatal wounds. It isn't clear if the suspect was also injured. If you know the suspect, or if you are him, please get in touch.
Ilyas Habibi, 17, was a student from the area and died at the scene from his injuries. On Tuesday (December 5) at around 7:08pm police and ambulance crews were called to the scene in Sutton High Street. London Ambulance Service has confirmed that several resources were sent to the scene, along with support from London Air Ambulance. On arrival officers found Ilyas suffering from knife injuries and he was provided with first aid. He died at 7.53am at the scene.
