Kelly Piggott lives with her six children in a severely neglected flat with damp, mould, and pests. After her relationship ended, the council relocated them far from their home, saying refusal would label them voluntarily homeless.
Kelly detailed the condition of the new flat, saying, 'I wouldn't even put dogs in there. It's just disgusting. The entrance hall and bathrooms are so damp that the wallpaper has fallen off and the house smells terrible.'
Kelly's son Harry suffers from asthma exacerbated by the living conditions, leading to multiple hospital visits, and highlighting the health risks posed by damp environments for vulnerable children.
