A man from Edgware and a woman of no fixed address have been sentenced to eight weeks in prison for stealing items worth over $3,000 at Stansted Airport.
The incident took place at the World Duty Free shop in the airport, where Essex Police were alerted to suspicious behavior by a staff member.
The culprits, Donrina-Irina Filip Catana and Marian Filip, were found with the stolen items and subsequently arrested, charged, and sentenced.
