All the locations across Croydon set to receive new bus shelters
Briefly

The collaboration between Croydon Council and Transport for London (TfL) aims to replace the bus shelters removed in 2021. The initiative, driven by Executive Mayor Jason Perry, prioritizes the needs of residents who rely on public transport, with over 88,000 daily users. The shelters will be installed at more than 100 locations at no cost to the council, with TfL managing maintenance and cleaning. This effort is part of a broader plan to enhance Croydon's transportation network, reinforcing local support for public transit utilization and accessibility.
Executive Mayor of Croydon, Jason Perry, stated: 'One of my key priorities when I became Executive Mayor was the return of the much-needed bus shelters for the residents of Croydon.'
Carl Eddleston, TfL's director of network management and resilience, emphasized: 'These new bus shelters will provide much-needed travel infrastructure to the residents of Croydon and we're delighted to be installing these new shelters.'
