Around 35 residents were evacuated from a three-storey maisonette in Islington early this morning, with no injuries reported after an extensive firefighting response.
The London Fire Brigade mobilised approximately 60 firefighters and eight fire engines to combat the blaze that broke out at 4.14am.
The Brigade's FSG app played a crucial role during the incident, facilitating effective communication and lifesaving advice for residents prior to their evacuation.
The fire, which affected multiple floors in the residential building, was brought under control by 5.39am, while the cause remains under investigation.
