WHO Chief Survives Israel's Bombing of Sanaa Airport That Killed 4 People

According to reports from Yemen's Health Ministry, at least four people were killed and 21 others injured in the attack on Thursday after Israel struck the international airport in Sana and the city of al Hodeida.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus expressed his experience during the attack: 'As we were about to board our flight from Sanaa, the airport came under aerial bombardment. One of our plane's crew members was injured.'
As WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus reported, 'The air traffic control tower, the departure lounge - just a few meters from where we were - and the runway were damaged.'
Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani of the Israel Defense Forces stated that they had no prior knowledge of the WHO leader's presence: 'We didn't know the WHO leader would be at the airport during the attack.'
