The U.S. Supreme Court rejected Steve Bannon's appeal to remain free while his case goes through appeals, ordering him to report to a federal prison in Connecticut by July 1.
Bannon, convicted of criminal contempt charges for defying subpoenas related to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot investigation, tried to argue he relied on his lawyer's advice. The judge disallowed this defense.
