Kemi Badenoch has said "heads should roll" at the BBC, following reports that a Panorama documentary misled viewers by editing a speech by US President Donald Trump.

Christopher P. Moynihan is accused of sending a text message on Friday noting that Jeffries, a New York Democrat, would be making a speech in New York City this week. "I cannot allow this terrorist to live," Moynihan wrote, according to a report by a state police investigator. Moynihan also wrote that Jeffries "must be eliminated" and texted, "I will kill him for the future," the police report says.

Court documents obtained by CBS News said Christopher Moynihan was arrested Sunday after saying in text messages that he planned to "eliminate" Jeffries when the top House Democrat spoke at an event in New York City on Monday. According to a court filing by prosecutors in the New York state criminal case, Moynihan wrote, "Hakeem Jeffries makes a speech in a few days in NYC I cannot allow this terrorist to live."

U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan rejected an argument that a presidential pardon for January 6th defendants could provide a refund of restitution payments.

Top leaders of the far-right group were either pardoned or had their sentences commuted by President Trump earlier this year.

"The more we find out about how staged and managed this was, the more we have to have less judgment for somebody who hits a cop."
