Former DC Metro police officer Michael Fanone, who suffered a heart attack after being assaulted during the Capitol riot, predicted that Donald Trump will flee the country in his luxury jet. Fanone said he expects things to get worse as a cornered Trump lashes out and becomes more dangerous. Fanone predicted Democrats will retake the House in 2026 and that investigations or impeachment proceedings against Trump are likely if elections are free and fair. Fanone said Trump ran partly to enrich himself and avoid prison, citing purported crypto-related wealth claims, and accused Trump of selling a 'retribution tour' to supporters.
