Lawyer on Survivor: 'If I Lose, I'm Going to Biglaw' - Above the Law
Briefly

Kyle Fraser, an attorney from Virginia and contestant on Survivor, discusses the brutal realities of both the game and his profession. In an interview, he reflects on the challenges he's faced in white-collar criminal defense at big law firms and expresses a desire to ultimately work in public interest law. If voted out first, he humorously declares that returning to a high-paying law firm would be his punishment, highlighting the often dehumanizing nature of Biglaw as a stark contrast to Survivor's physical struggles.
I have done white collar criminal defense at larger firms, which I very much enjoyed, but I want to eventually segue to more of a public interest job.
I'm going to go grind it out at a law firm and try and make the big bucks. That's my punishment. Any lawyer knows that that's a pretty difficult thing to do.
