Duncan Bannatyne will remove the non-binary gender option from his gym chain app "as soon as possible" after being asked why the app asks for gender rather than sex and includes male, female and non-binary options. The question was raised by Mary Howden, director of the gender-critical group Women's Rights Network, who said sex differences matter in fitness. Bannatyne has urged gym owners to treat single-sex spaces as for biological women and said men should not enter women's changing rooms.
