Scott Gillen's Malibu spec community, The Case, saw its first sale at $61 million for The Edge. A second home is in escrow at $60 million, featuring luxurious amenities.
The Case includes homes with prices ranging from $70 million to $125 million. One of the properties, the Flat House, found a buyer at 10,500 square feet. Several high-end sales occurred in Malibu in June, including Oakley founder Jim Jannard's estate for $210 million.
