House in Praia do Forte / Vereda Arquitetos
Briefly

This coastal house, located close to the beach and the Tamar Project conservation center, features a unique longitudinal design optimized for scenic views. The residence consists of three distinct blocks—a social area that blends indoor and outdoor living, a master suite with additional study spaces, and a secondary block for bedrooms and services. Constructed from local stone and reinforced concrete, the design allows for a harmonious connection to the surrounding landscape, with tiered levels for improved accessibility and varied ambience throughout the home.
The house's longitudinal design maximizes views of the protected areas of the restinga with their unique regional flora.
The three blocks are connected by a central circulation axis, with half-level stairs for easy access and expanded views.
