Mariano Azuela 194, located in Mexico City's Santa María la Ribera neighborhood, is a residential complex by Bloqe Arquitectura that integrates seamlessly with local architectural heritage. The design consists of four bays, two circulation cores, and features unique barrel vaults crowning each tower, which provide additional space and aesthetic appeal. Maintaining the area's early 20th-century architectural style, the building's facade includes canopies and enhances urban life with ground-floor commercial spaces. National materials crafted with artisanal techniques further enrich the project, aligning it with traditional Mexican architecture.
The building, composed of four bays and two circulation cores, is designed to relate harmoniously to its urban surroundings, respecting the scale and architectural characteristics of the place.
The facade, high on the ground floor and equipped with canopies, adopts the proportions and architectural language characteristic of the early twentieth century, reflecting the essence of the buildings that abound in the neighborhood.
