Lynn aims for a healthier season after losing 20 pounds, believing it will alleviate pressure on his knees and boost his mobility on the mound.
"The older you get, you learn new things. When you look at your knees and lower body, I was going to have to lose a little bit of weight," Lynn stated.
Reflecting on his career, Lynn mentioned, "I kind of came to the conclusion that I wasn't done. If I'm not done, I've got to change some stuff up."
