It's embarrassing to be walking and talking to myself for a full 20 seconds when he's on the floor tying his shoelaces.
I feel that it could be a very simple fix. I'm not a double knot purist, but you need to understand when a situation calls for a certain knot.
We've almost missed trains because of Derren's loose shoelaces. I have a lot of time for the idea of taking a moment to appreciate the world, but his constant lace-tying stresses us out.
The main issue is the embarrassment of me walking along talking to myself for a full 20 seconds when he's nowhere to be seen.
