Director Sam Raimi has said he has no plans to make another Marvel movie amid rumors that he could direct an upcoming Avengers film and/or direct a new Spider-Man film with Tobey Maguire.
Raimi is not against the idea of making another Marvel movie and would love it, but unverified rumors about him directing 'Avengers: Secret Wars' or a fourth Spider-Man film with Tobey Maguire remain.
If a fourth Spider-Man film with Tobey Maguire were to happen, Raimi mentioned the need to first figure out the character's journey, personal growth, obstacles to overcome, and the right villain to represent those obstacles.
