If there's any other Vietnamese restaurant in SF besides Miss Saigon where you can stare at a projection of a lakeside patio and dine under neon pink tree branches, let us know. This casual SoMa spot looks like a paintball supply closet exploded all over the ceiling and walls.
The food at this mostly takeout place is pretty good-though the garlic noodles could use a bit more garlic, and the vermicelli bowls are just fine. But the sleeper hit is the bánh mì. The golden brown bread has just the right amount of soft, chewy give, and the grilled meats drip with mayo.
