Epler elaborated that if a choice made by players doesn't fit in the new story, they simply won't reference it, ensuring that no player's decisions feel invalidated.
Setting The Veilguard in a different part of Thedas allows BioWare to navigate the multiple-canon approach while respecting past player decisions.
Epler confirmed that while players' past choices may not always influence the current narrative, BioWare will never assert that past decisions are disregarded.
