More than 2.2 million Rite Aid customers have been swept into a data breach stealing personal information like driver's license numbers, addresses, and dates of birth, associated with retail purchases from June 2017 to July 2018.
RansomHub, a ransomware group, claimed credit for the attack on Rite Aid, acquiring over 10GB of customer data, operating post the downfall of the Lockbit group, with ongoing negotiations that were abruptly cut off by Rite Aid.
