Cinematrix Clarifications and Corrections Vol. 4: A Most Punctilious Year
Briefly

Cinematrix celebrates its one-year anniversary emphasizing its growth and player engagement over the past year. The game has evolved from refining its approach to expanding availability into weekends. Notably, they have actively interacted with players, addressing common queries and issues. As part of the anniversary, the team took the opportunity to clarify a few points from user feedback, including casting corrections and appreciation for both players and celebrities involved in the game. The commitment to user interaction remains a priority moving forward, promising another exciting year ahead.
Have never been as bad at anything as I am at Cinematrix. Forget every film I've ever seen as soon as I open it. And yet I persist in playing every day in the vain hope I'll magically do better- aideen (@aideenblackwood) July 20, 2024
It's been a number of months since we last weighed in on the related questions and recurring themes that crop up in our mailbox, so we figured: When better than on the game's birthday to resolve grievances and offer mea culpas?
We've accomplished a lot in that year: refined our approach, expanded to weekends, heard from celebrities who enjoy playing (and designing) the game.
Along the way, we continued reading and responding to every email we received from our wonderful (if occasionally snippy) players.
