""I remember waiting every Friday for the officials to call our family's name," Roman recalls. "When they finally did, it felt like winning the lottery.""
""You learn quickly when you have to," he says with a smile."
""I could never keep a car longer than six months," he laughs. "There was always another project waiting.""
Born in Moscow and arriving in San Jose at age 11 after a six-month journey, Roman Meydbray adapted rapidly and learned English within a year. His parents restarted careers in the U.S., with his mother cleaning houses and working at McDonald's and his father joining ADT Security, shaping a strong work ethic. Early passions for cars and computers led to hands-on tinkering and software exploration. He advanced into IT leadership and now serves as Vice President of IT, leading global support and digital workplace teams and managing technology under strict healthcare and privacy compliance frameworks.
