Shoppers issued warning as disease-causing bacteria linked to meningitis found

Bread Spread is recalling products contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can lead to Listeriosis, causing symptoms like fever, vomiting, and even meningitis.

The Food Standards Agency issued a do not eat warning for affected products, urging customers to return them for a full refund and displaying explanatory notices at point of sales.
