Boar's Head recalls 7 million more pounds of deli meats tied to listeria outbreak

Boar's Head is recalling an additional 7 million pounds of ready-to-eat products from its Virginia plant due to a deadly listeria outbreak, with over 70 products affected under Boar's Head and Old Country brands.

The outbreak has caused two deaths and sickened nearly three dozen people in 13 states, prompting the company to expand the recall out of caution, halting production and urging consumers to return or discard the products.
