Briefly

Chris Conway, Co-op Food's e-commerce director, announced the imminent launch of a rebranded quick commerce app, Peckish, aimed at independent retailers. Initially trialed as 'Nisa to You', Peckish enables grocery deliveries within 30 minutes, addressing the challenges faced by smaller stores in online sales, such as cost and resource limitations. The app leverages Co-op's tech stack and partnerships with delivery services like Deliveroo and Uber Eats, aiming to enhance service for local communities and facilitate significant growth for independent grocery businesses.
