At one point, we were fighting so hard to elevate our brand, working so hard to get an interview to talk about your art, but the only thing that they're asking about is how to label you.
Most of the time, we're labeled as streetwear, then it begs the question, what is streetwear to you? Why is that?
I'm a woman, and I'm approaching the world of menswear as something that I buy into, but I'm not of it. I wanted to go against the grain.
It was really cool that [Jordan] opened it right up for me to step in and do what I wanted in their labs.
