"Oura members who identified as women got higher sleep and activity scores in 2025, but they also clocked more stressed minutes per day. Women Oura members averaged 7.24 hours of sleep each night, while men Oura members got 6.8 hours. Women members averaged around 129 minutes of stress daily, while men members averaged 97 minutes, around a half hour less. "Women are prioritizing rest and movement, but seem to carry a heavier stress load," Oura says in a blog post."
"On the topic of stress, Fridays were the most stressful days of the week, while Saturdays were when Oura members were most active, and also slept the worst. And to no one's surprise, the US is No 1, with the highest average of 121.2 stressed minutes per day. "This aligns with external research that often points to high rates of societal stress, economic concerns, and a fast-paced culture in the US," Oura says in a blog post."
Oura's Year in Review highlights regional and gender differences in stress, activity, and sleep among ring users. US users averaged the highest stressed minutes at 121.2 minutes per day. Members who identified as women earned higher sleep and activity scores in 2025 but averaged about 129 minutes of stress daily versus 97 minutes for men. Women averaged 7.24 hours of sleep nightly, while men averaged 6.8 hours. Fridays registered as most stressful, Saturdays as most active and worst for sleep. The app now lets users view their Year in Review.
