Anyone who relies on lactase enzyme tablets - a category that is to Lactaid what tissues are to Kleenex - will scoff at the idea that they're "having a moment."
"Because we operate at the intersection of dairy, food, and Jews, and there's a high propensity for lactose intolerance among Jews of European descent, Ashkenazi descent, there was talk from the start about having Lactaid available," says Rabbi Charlie Schwartz, director of Lehrhaus.
