Corey Cohen has been appointed as Director of Restaurants and Mixology at Hotel Maya, overseeing restaurant and beverage operations, including the relaunch of the Latin-inspired restaurant Fuego. With over 15 years of experience, Cohen aims to revitalize Fuego by introducing seasonal cocktails, expanding the tequila library, and enhancing guest experience through innovative dining. Prior to Hotel Maya, Cohen was the Food and Beverage Outlet Manager at Hyatt Regency Los Angeles and has a background in opening and managing various high-volume hospitality venues.
Cohen will oversee all restaurant and beverage operations, focusing on managing day-to-day operations of Fuego and spearheading its bar and restaurant relaunch.
Cohen brings over 15 years of hospitality experience and will be instrumental in revitalizing Fuego's identity, particularly through a refreshed beverage program and elevated service strategy.
As part of the relaunch, he will introduce a new lineup of seasonal cocktails with bold Latin influences and expand the restaurant's renowned tequila library.
His experience includes opening leadership roles at Moxy/AC Hotel in Downtown LA and managing high-volume venues like Hennessey's Tavern.
