Hideo Kojima Wants The Death Stranding Movie To Win Prestigous Film Festival Awards

It's quite difficult to adapt a 50-60 hour game like Death Stranding into a two or three-hour movie. We're still looking at how to approach it.
And with A24, I want to make something that's based on a game, but also indie and artistic, something that can win awards at film festivals like Cannes, Venice or Sundance.
So who will star in Death Stranding? The original game featured the voice and likeness of Norman Reedus as Sam Porter, and while The Walking Dead actor might be the obvious choice, Kojima explained that nothing had been decided yet and the hunt for a director is still on.
