Temu and Shein are raising their US prices next week
Briefly

Shein and Temu have announced upcoming price increases in the U.S. market due to new global trade rules and heightened tariffs on goods imported from China. The companies indicated that their existing prices would remain until April 25, after which adjustments would be made, influenced by tariffs that have been raised significantly, with some reaching up to 245 percent. In anticipation of these changes, both retailers have recently reduced their advertising budgets on social media platforms, reflecting a strategy to manage costs amid anticipated drops in sales post-price hikes.
"Until April 25, prices will stay the same, so you can shop now at today's rates," Shein and Temu say on their websites. "We're doing everything we can to keep prices low and minimize the impact on you."
President Donald Trump has raised tariffs on goods imported from China to up to 145 percent. Tariffs on some imports could reach up to 245 percent when added to existing levies.
