Presentations.ai, an Indian startup, has raised $3 million in seed funding from Accel to further develop its AI-powered platform designed to streamline the presentation-making process. Since its beta launch in 2023, the platform has gained over 5 million users, indicating strong demand for tools that assist with creating compelling presentations. Co-founder Sumanth Raghavendra aims to make the platform as essential for presentations as ChatGPT is for text generation. The startup's growth is attributed to its focus on solving a common pain point for businesses in presenting ideas effectively.
"We want to be the ChatGPT for presentation. Think about making a presentation using AI, using that same construct that ChatGPT operates under," Raghavendra told TechCrunch.
People struggle to take the first draft of a presentation," said Sumanth Raghavendra, co-founder and CEO of Presentations.ai, in an exclusive interview.
Before Presentations.ai, Raghvendra founded Deck App Technologies, which developed an app to help people create business content using smartphones.
The Bengaluru-based startup has made that easier with its AI-powered platform, used by over 5 million people worldwide since its public beta launch in 2023.
