UK music industry presses government to solve post-Brexit limits on touring
Briefly

"Since Brexit, musicians touring the EU have faced barriers introduced in the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA). They can work up to 90 out of every 180 days, which causes problems for longer tours, musicians who work in multiple bands or orchestras, and crew required on site before and after performances."
"Post-Brexit regulations make touring in Europe expensive, complicated and sometimes impossible for musicians. Removing the barriers could not be more important for our sector."
"The new UK government's welcome resolve in tackling these issues must not be diminished. It is an urgent issue for the industry that needs a solution."
"A 2023 survey by the ISM showed that, since Brexit, almost half of UK musicians and music industry workers have had less work in the EU, and more than a quarter had none at all."
