Channel 4 fired' Boris Johnson from US election show for promoting his book, co-host says

Krishnan Guru-Murthy described Johnson's behavior as "so cheap" during the live coverage, repeatedly reprimanding him for promoting his memoir instead of discussing the election.

When asked about a political comeback, Johnson replied indirectly, stating, "The answer is obviously contained in Unleashed where you'll find the full discussion of this subject."

Johnson remarked, "There's absolutely nothing you can do to stop me. I'm allowed to plug my book," highlighting his insistence on promoting his memoir during the program.

Later in the show, Emily Maitlis pointedly told Johnson, "We are not all going to read your book, so just tell us, do you want to have a political comeback?"
