West Ham United has reportedly agreed on a loan-to-buy deal for Luizao with Corinthians, marking the defender’s return to South America after time in London.
The Brazilian defender, who is 22 years old and has not yet made a senior appearance for West Ham, will initially join Corinthians on loan.
Having scored four goals in 37 youth games since his arrival at West Ham's under-21 team, Luizao is expected to continue his development in Brazil.
Luizao, previously with Sao Paulo, is nearing a transfer back to his home continent in a move highlighted by reporter Gabriel Sa, as interest grows.
