Former Chelsea forward Werner is on loan at Tottenham Hotspur from RB Leipzig, and United is planning to try to sign him permanently in the summer of 2024.
The 28-year-old Germany international forward has scored two goals and given two assists in five starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League.
