At six years old, your child should know how to already tie his shoes. If not, get him velcro sneakers.
Your teacher does not have the time to be tying the students' shoes; she's got 20 to 25 kids in that class. There's just not enough time.
Your teacher doesn't even have a chance to go pee, let alone tie your child's shoes, and everyone else's.
Parents can help teachers deal with avoidable challenges by teaching kids skills at home or providing shoes without laces.
