A Dublin High School student was assaulted by five individuals after being followed into the boys' locker room, prompting an investigation but no arrests yet.
The assault was not a random act, according to Dublin police, who are conducting interviews and examining evidence in connection with the incident.
Principal Maureen Byrne revealed that the lead-up to the assault was captured on video, and school officials are working with police to identify those involved.
After school on Friday, students and staff intervened during the assault, emphasizing community support and safety within the school environment.
