Attleboro elementary teacher suspended after altercation with students

According to The Sun Chronicle, the incident took place in a Thacher Elementary School classroom, where two students were allegedly slapped by a teacher.
Superintendent David Sawyer stated, "The district administration was immediately informed, and an investigation was launched in accordance with district procedures."
Sawyer emphasized the seriousness of the matter, saying, "This is disheartening news, as the safety and well-being of our students is our highest priority."
In response to the incident, the school district also notified the Attleboro Police Department and the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families.
