Parliament Hill School is inviting donations of unwanted shoes to create a surrealist art project, transforming them into imaginative animal sculptures as part of their curriculum.
The students will explore the Surrealist movement through the arts, using donated shoes to inspire creativity and experimentation in various 3D techniques.
Elizabeth Gater from the school's art department expressed that this initiative helps foster students' understanding of artistic movements while engaging them in hands-on learning.
Shoes of any type, including men's, women's, trainers, and boots, can be donated at the school's reception, aiding in the creation of unique artworks.
