A 48-year-old man was shot in the shoulder after he and a 39-year-old female coworker used a personal vehicle to trail the robbers, who allegedly seized cash and a necklace around 6 p.m. in the 3300 block of Foothill Boulevard, according to Oakland police.
Oakland police are still investigating Friday's robbery, as well as a string of similar crimes that have recently occurred in the city. Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $7,500 reward money for information leading to the arrests of the robbers.
