A 32-year-old woman was shot Sunday night as she sat in a car in East Oakland. The woman was being treated for a wound to her neck. Her condition was not available Monday morning.
The shooting happened about 9:30 p.m. Sunday at Parker Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard. Another vehicle pulled alongside and a person shot into the parked vehicle, hitting the woman, who was in the passenger seat.
