The short video depicts a woman being violently forced into a sedan by a suspect who was later identified. Officers recovered the stolen vehicle linked to the crime. The victim is described as a young Black woman, while the suspect is a Black male with distinctive features. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Missing Person's Unit of the Oakland Police Department.
In the short video released by the OPD, a woman in a light colored puffy jacket with black and blue dreadlocks can be seen standing when a sedan pulls up.
Police say they later recovered the suspect's vehicle nearby, and they determined it was stolen.
Police describe the victim as a Black woman between 20 and 22 years old, standing 5 foot, 5 inches and weighing around 140 pounds.
Anyone with any information on the case is asked to immediately contact the Oakland PD Missing Person's Unit.
