Two Bay Area men wanted for retail theft prompts Highway 101 chase

The Novato police arrested a theft suspect, Jason Xavier Ware, and an accomplice after a chase that began at the Vintage Oaks Shopping Center. Ware, who was driving a Lexus, evaded police until the car sustained damage near Terra Linda. He was booked into the Marin County Jail for theft exceeding $1,000, conspiracy, and evading police. The passenger, Imereta Faalogoifo, was also arrested for conspiracy but was released pending investigation. Ware has prior theft convictions and is currently held without bail.
