Brittany Irene Bernstein was sentenced to four years in prison for physically attacking her elderly father after he asked her to move out of his home, violating a restraining order.
Bernstein's actions on February 10, 2023, involved grabbing her father, causing him to fall, and then holding him down, leading to felony charges of elder abuse.
Following the incident, the victim, suffering bruises, managed to escape and call for help. Authorities arrived to find Bernstein uncooperative.
In addition to her prison sentence, Bernstein was placed under a 10-year order prohibiting her from contacting her father, who did not seek any restitution.
