Pedestrian dies on Emeryville freeway after being hit by several vehicles

A tragic incident occurred on Interstate 80 when Erich Raley-Vincent, a 44-year-old from Emeryville, exited his crashed BMW and was subsequently struck by multiple vehicles late Monday night. The California Highway Patrol revealed that the crash happened around 10:50 p.m., prompting the closure of westbound connector lanes while investigators examined the scene for more than two hours. Fortunately, all drivers involved remained at the site after the incident. Authorities have requested that anyone with additional information contact the CHP Oakland office.
