The fatal shooting was reported just before 4:15 p.m. in the 100 block of Louvaine Avenue...Officers arrived to find a man in his 40s suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
The death marked Oakland's 19th homicide of the year...An investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Police did not announce any arrests Thursday night.
