A 44-year-old man was fatally shot Wednesday night at an East Oakland apartment complex. The shooting occurred amid a dispute with another man at approximately 11:09 p.m.
Police have not yet disclosed a motive for the shooting nor released the name of the victim, pending notification of his family. This is the seventh homicide investigated by Oakland police this year.
