County prosecutors have filed murder charges against a Concord man who was on parole when he allegedly shot a man dead near downtown Antioch, court records show.
Agustin Calderon, 41, was charged with murdering 29-year-old Eric Azevedo in the Dec. 16, 2023 shooting. Authorities say Calderon was on parole at the time after serving less than half of a sentence for a 2017 conviction of assault with a deadly firearm.
