4 Oakland Chevron stations burglarized, damaged by thieves, police say
Briefly

An investigation is underway in Oakland after a series of burglaries targeted four Chevron stations early Tuesday morning, all within about an hour. The incidents began with a Lexus crashing into a gas station, leading to significant property damage. Subsequent thefts occurred at three other locations, with suspects using vehicles to break into the establishments. Surveillance footage captured the actions of the groups involved, and police are seeking information about these coordinated crimes as they assess the overall crime trend in the area.
"They broke everything. Everything went down. We have to damage the whole building and put it back on," said station manager Navdeep Grewal.
Police say a group of people rammed a Lexus into the food mart, leaving a gaping hole in the side of the building.
